Steve Lamacq will be playing a new song from The Longcut 'Gravity in Crisis' tonight as part of his show tonight at 9pm on BBC Radio 1
It's the first chance to hear new music from the bands debut album, released this June
If you miss the show, you should be able to use the BBC's listen again feature from tomorrow
Update Wed 22-March
'Gravity In Crisis' 'Last Act' was played 56minutes into Monday night's show. Use the listen again feature (and fast forward to 00:56:26) ...
Stuart from the band wrote on the Longcut forum: "The song that he played was Last Act. He was supposed to play Gravity In Crisis but pressed the wrong button on the CD player. He's apologised and promises to play the right song on next week's show. Hope this clears anything up!"
Update #2
'Gravity In Crisis' was finally played on Lamacq Live on Monday 27th March. Fast forward to around 3h19 into the show on the listen again

Class aA - Beyond Entertainment, the album released during 2005 by Akoustik Anarkhy has won the Mancunian Compilation Of The Year in an online poll on the BBC Manchester website. The album features many rising stars (and thewonderwall favourites) such as Autokat, Loose Canon, Harrisons and The Longcut who you'll be hearing plenty of in 2006, and of course the already famous Nine Black Alps
"Beyond Entertainment proves one thing and that is that six years of late nights, kitchen gigs, unstoppable energy, stage invasions and indefatigable belief in a dream have all been worth it. Long may the Anarkhy continue." BBC Manchester
Check out the Akoustik Anarkhy MySpace page for a taster
