aA Label Boss Raymond Ray Speaks

Akoustik Anarkhy label boss Raymond Ray is in great spirits for 2006 & has issued the following statement.....

Hey up Kids, I hope your new years partying went off in some style last weekend.

It's looking like a great year for Akoustik Anarkhy in 2006 with some fine fine music to be released on the label. See a list of what's already confirmed below.

On the live party front, we're very pleased to announce that we will be hosting a bi monthly series of aA nights at the Brixton Windmill starting Saturday 11th February. It's an exciting time ahead. Line ups to be announced.

In Manchester we hope to open our Gardens Hotel season in some style with some special guests looking likely to get the party well & truly rolling.

So Happy New Year & check out all the releases we already have coming your way over the next few months....

COMING YOUR WAY OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FROM AKOUSTIK ANARKHY RECORDINGS:

The debut release from aA’s resident DJ, musical pioneer & local family man. Think rave damaged pop with wobbly synths & dodgy FX (available in January on ltd 5 track CD & 2 track 7”)

THE LOUNGS – “I’m gonna take your girl”/"Seen my baby dancing" (aA2w/020)
Another debut release, this time from aA’s newly signed princes of pop from sunny St Helens. Look up to the sky & just watch ‘em go!! (available in February on ltd 7” vinyl)

THOMAS TRUAX – “Have we been left behind”/"Lessons in art" (aA2w/021)
After 2 albums & a couple of singles, New York’s Thomas Truax is ready to make his debut on aA with 2 exclusive tunes that offer the listener head spinning majesty of the highest order (available in March on ltd 7” vinyl)

AUTOKAT – “Dish Out / Get off the bar” (aA2w/022)
Following the success of last summer’s debut 45 “The Driver”, those pesky kats are ready to go one step further with their next single. Anyone who liked "The Driver" will LOVE this baby (available soon on ltd 7” vinyl).
